Our Purpose
The purpose of this Society shall be:
to unite the medical profession of Martin County, State of Florida, into one compact organization and
to join with other county medical societies in the State of Florida
to form the Florida Medical Association and through it, with other state medical associations,
to form the American Medical Association, in order to extend medical knowledge and to advance medical science: to elevate the standards of medical education:
to strive for the enactment, preservation and enforcement of just medical and public health laws:
to promote friendly relations among doctors of medicine and to guard and foster their material interests:
to enlighten and alert the public, and to merit its respect and confidence.
